Unfortunately the stigma is alive and kicking and many women zone out once they know you live with parents as an adult regardless of the situation, asking the question "How do you get to know someone then" the stigma amongst other things is debilitating
Thankyou for commenting. I agree there are people who just won't entertain it. And that dating when LWP is definitely not easy! The stigma 100% exists but there's the choice to just not date and say that it's unfair or shit. Or to try and find the humans out there who see through where you live. They do exist. That's not personal to you, it's the option for anyone reading this.
In today's economy, living solo is a huge luxury. Unless society starts to shift it's stigma around living at home, more and more of the population are going to stay single. Not that being single is a bad thing. But I think it's pretty shitti for those who DO desire a realtionship.
